My arm was just badly bruised, it seems.
The lump is a haematoma which will, they hope, go down, eventually.
It is a tiny bit smaller, but I fear it will remain as a nasty lump for some time to come, if not for good.
Oh well. We shall just have to wait and see.

Mymom said she had a haematoma because she had some sort of aurgery when my brother and I were almost a year old. My dad took us to visit her at the hospital. My brother grabbed the IV line and pulled it as hard as he could, dislodging it from her arm and causing blood to squirt all over the room. She said it too her over eight months to get rid of the thing.
