Yes, preparations for spring and summer in the UK are somewhat curtailed, because the winter has come back!
7 or more inches of snow in Aviemore, Scotland, and even a couple of inches overnight, here in the English Midlands.
And soon I get to walk 2 miles to work! Yay, me!

How much annual snowfall do you usually get where you live, Matt?
Other than my brief stays with relatives and pseudorelatives in Utah, I've never lived in a place with snow. I'd like to try it sometime.
It varies. Nowhere near as much as Utah.
Several inches, maybe a foot.
They get much more in Scotland.
