Are some Mormons jealous of ex-Mormons? Do they resent the fact that we are perceived, by them and their fellow Mormons, as being more free than they are?

That if we want to drink tea, coffee alcohol, or a decaffeinated drink, that we can do so, without breaking the somewhat weird word of wisdom?

Is that why? Readers, please tell me what you feel about this via the comment section of this blog. Thank you!

My dad's relatives are jealous of the disposable income my parents have because my parents only have two children and don't pay an LDS tithing. My parents give generously to another church, but that doesn't seem to matter to my LDS relatives. The LDS relatives think my parents owe it to them to get them out of any financial jams in which they find themselves despite the fact that this giving is in no way reciprocal.

Yes, that CAN be a problem, Alexis.
